PETRA Tours is a highly successful independent Travel Agent established in Petra a well known Greek Village, on the island of Lesvos. Leandros Chiotis , Eleni Dissou and
    Erika Mayer founded the company in 1983. 
     They started with a small office, offering basic services for the tourists visiting the
    area at the time, such as accommodation, transfers, tours round the island, Greek Language lessons, Boat trips, Greek cooking and dancing lessons. They rapidly built up a reputation for offering friendly and consistently personal service combined with a high level of expertise.

These qualities have rubbed off on their highly trained staff and through the years the company has developed and maintained a tremendously high level of Repeat Business with loyal and satisfied customers who entrust their holidays and general travel arrangements to them year after year.

Now days PETRA Tours is working with a large number of hotels and other types of accommodation such as Villas, Houses, Apartments, Bungalows, Studios, round the island.
It is the owner of two luxury air-conditioned buses and cooperates with some well-known Greek and European Tour Operators and Travel Agencies for incoming and outgoing tourism.

While we still offer the services we started with and we can now also organize conferences and offer services for special groups such as birdwatchers, students, walkers, religion e.t.c.
Since year the 2000 we were had a new department in our office (ticketing) offering our clients worldwide and domestic flight tickets plus ferry tickets all around Greece, Turkey and Italy.
